Centrepoint – EV Ready Plan

Leading Engineering has successfully led the engineering efforts for the Centrepoint high-rise project in Burnaby. This mixed-use building, previously home to the beloved BestBuy shop in Metrotown, presented us with some unique challenges, and we are proud to say that we have met them head-on!

Our primary focus was to strike the perfect balance between residential and commercial spaces while optimizing the available capacity for EV charging infrastructure.

In today’s world, sustainability is key, and we’re going beyond the conventional by ensuring that Centrepoint is future-ready. We have ensured the building’s electrical system can accommodate a heat pump system when the time is right, providing the option for a greener and more energy-efficient future.
